Company: Erelevant Inc. (“Erelevant,” “we,” “us,” “our”)
This Privacy Policy explains how Erelevant collects, uses, discloses, and protects personal information and confidential business information when you visit our website or engage our services.
1. Scope
This policy applies to information collected through:
-
Our website and any forms on it;
-
Email or other communications you send to us; and
-
Materials you share with us while we deliver services (including messaging, branding, and pitch-deck work).
It does not apply to third-party websites or services that may be linked from our website.
2. The Kinds of Information We Collect
Because Erelevant provides specialized messaging and branding sprints for founders, we may handle information that is not just personal but commercially sensitive. We treat it accordingly.
2.1 Founder Information
Standard contact and intake details, such as:
-
name, email, company name, and role/title.
2.2 Strategic Assets (Proprietary Business Information)
Sensitive materials you may submit for service delivery, such as:
-
pitch decks, product roadmaps, financial projections, traction metrics, go-to-market notes, and business models.
2.3 Creative Input
Information used to produce deliverables, such as:
-
brand preferences, voice/tone inputs, mission statements, positioning notes, and feedback.
2.4 Information Collected Automatically
When you use the website, we may collect technical and usage information such as IP address, device/browser details, pages visited, referral source, and timestamps. This is typically collected through cookies and similar technologies.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use information to:
-
respond to inquiries and deliver the services you request;
-
create, revise, and finalize deliverables across our service tiers (for example: Founder Clarity messaging, Brand Foundation assets, and Investor-ready pitch materials);
-
communicate with you about your project or request;
-
maintain security, prevent fraud or misuse, and troubleshoot issues;
-
understand website performance and improve the site.
We do not sell personal information.
4. Strict Confidentiality for Proprietary Assets (Zero-Leak Policy)
We recognize that your pitch decks and business strategy can be sensitive enough to move markets.
Our confidentiality practices include:
-
Service-only Use: Your strategic assets are used solely to perform the services you selected.
-
No Investor or Third-party Sharing: We do not share your materials with investors, VCs, accelerators, or other founders unless you explicitly authorize it (for example, if you engage a service that requires disclosure).
-
Limited Internal Access: Access to your uploaded files is restricted to the people directly assigned to your project.
5. Intellectual Property and Portfolio Use
-
Client Ownership: Unless otherwise agreed in writing, final deliverables produced for your engagement (for example: messaging guides, brand identity outputs, and pitch materials) are intended to belong to you upon completion of payment and delivery.
-
Portfolio and “Stealth Mode” Respect: We do not publish or showcase your proprietary strategy, deck, or internal materials without your written permission (for example, via a “Success Story” approval).
6. Use of Tools, Including AI-assisted Workflows
If we use software tools to support delivery (editing, design, analytics, automation, or similar):
-
we use them to produce your deliverables and to operate the business; and
-
we aim to minimize exposure of sensitive materials to unnecessary systems.
Where AI-enabled tools are used, we do so in a structured way and do not use your proprietary materials to train public models.
7. Cookies and Analytics
We may use cookies and similar technologies to:
-
enable core site functionality;
-
remember preferences; and
-
measure website performance and usage.
You can control cookies through your browser settings. Blocking certain cookies may affect how the site functions.
8. Data Security and Technical Protection
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information.
Our site is built on Wix infrastructure. Wix states that Wix sites use HTTPS/SSL to encrypt data transmitted between a visitor’s browser and the site.
Wix also describes security and compliance measures across its platform and infrastructure providers, including certifications such as ISO 27001 and ISO 27018 (among others).
No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we take protection seriously and limit access to sensitive materials.
9. Retention and Deletion
-
Standard Retention: We may retain project files for up to one (1) year after project completion to support updates, refreshers, or continuity requests.
-
Right to Erasure of Proprietary Assets: You may request the deletion of your pitch decks and proprietary materials after the project is closed. We will action deletion requests subject to legal, tax, or dispute-resolution requirements.
10. International Data Transfers
Some service providers used to operate the website or deliver services may store or process data outside Canada (commonly in the United States). Where this happens, information may be subject to the laws of the jurisdiction in which it is processed.
11. Your Rights and Choices
You may request access to your personal information, request corrections, withdraw consent (where applicable), and ask questions about our handling of information.
12. Compliance (PIPEDA)
As a Canadian entity operating in Canada, we comply with the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA). PIPEDA governs how organizations collect, use, and disclose personal information in commercial activities.
You have the right to access your data, withdraw consent (subject to legal or contractual restrictions), or lodge a complaint regarding data handling by contacting us.
13. Children’s Privacy
Our website and services are not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
