Coca-Cola HBC
Corporate Storytelling | Sustainability Communications | Bringing digital communications together across 28 markets.

Context
Communicating across multiple countries means balancing consistency with local relevance. Corporate messaging, digital content and brand activity need to work within a broader communications framework without losing sight of the audiences they're meant to reach. In 2019, Coca-Cola HBC was communicating its sustainability commitments across climate, packaging, water, ingredients, nutrition, people and communities.
The challenge
The commitments covered complex environmental and social priorities. They needed to be communicated clearly across digital channels and made accessible to diverse audiences. As Group Digital Communications Manager, I worked across corporate and digital communications in a multi-market environment.

My contribution
I led the communications campaign announcing the company's sustainability commitments, translating its priorities into content for internal and external audiences. I coordinated sustainability storytelling across social media, the corporate website, the company blog and online publications, communicating commitments that included net-zero emissions and biodiversity goals for 2040. In addition, I supported the corporate website migration to Adobe Experience Manager, worked on digital communications and content across 28 markets. supported Costa Coffee launch in 10+ markets, and contributed to corporate and brand communications, including review and approval processes.
The outcome
The campaign brought the company's sustainability commitments into a coordinated, multi-channel communications programme. Across my broader digital communications work at Coca-Cola HBC, I also helped deliver 150% growth in social engagement and a corporate website migration that improved page-load performance fourfold.
